What is Craft Intelligence?
A single AI platform with specialized modules for different kinds of work. Instead of forcing one chatbot to do everything, Craft Intelligence gives you focused modules — each built for a specific job. Two are live today: Craft Studio (for filmmakers) and Craft Read (a free listen-to-anything reader). More are on the way.
Who is it for?
Everyone — not just creators. Filmmakers get Craft Studio. Students, researchers, and anyone with reading fatigue get Craft Read. More modules are being added for other kinds of work.
What does Craft Studio do?
Craft Studio is production intelligence for filmmakers. Give it a script and it finds scenes, builds department breakdowns, generates producer-grade schedule plans, creates visual prompt packs grounded in your scene context, and exports branded PDF handoffs. It was built on real production needs.
What does Craft Read do?
Craft Read reads anything aloud. PDFs, books, articles, long work documents — anything. No page limit. No paid tier. Free for everyone, forever. It's the free alternative to the paywalled reading apps.
Is Craft Read really free?
Yes — forever. No page limit. No premium tier blocking the next chapter. No credit card. We think listening to a textbook or a long doc shouldn't cost $12 a month.
How much does Craft Studio cost?
Early access is free. For teams and production companies, we'll offer paid upgrades with advanced features — but a useful version of Studio always stays free to try.
Are more modules coming?
Yes. We ship updates frequently. New modules are added as we hear what people actually need. If you have a use case you want supported, tell us — your feedback shapes what gets built next.
Is this related to Craft Films LA?
Same founder (Ajijul Hasan Surzo), same philosophy: pro-grade tools, transparent pricing, no gatekeeping. Craft Films handles video production work; Craft Intelligence is the AI platform. They're separate products with a shared principle — the basics should always be free.
