Monthly Content Subscriptions

These Terms & Conditions govern your subscription to Craft Films LA LLC ("Craft," "we," "us," "our"). By clicking Accept, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, click Deny and your order will not proceed.

Draft notice: This document is a working draft. Craft Films LA recommends you review with a California-licensed attorney before relying on it. Final attorney-reviewed terms will replace this draft.

Craft Films LA provides monthly video production services under one of three plans: Starter ($1,500/mo), Growth ($3,500/mo), Pro ($6,500/mo), or Crown ($12,000/mo). Each plan's deliverables are listed on your plan card at thecraftfilms.com/subscriptions/. Services are performed in the Los Angeles metro area by default; shoots elsewhere in the United States are available with travel costs passed through at cost.

Standard monthly billing applies starting the second month of your subscription at the plan's base rate (shown above). First-month pricing varies by billing cadence:

• Monthly (no commitment): full price, cancel anytime.
• Quarterly (3-month commitment): Starter 30% off / Growth 40% off / Pro 50% off first month.
• Annual (12-month commitment): Starter FREE first month / Growth 60% off / Pro 70% off first month.

All amounts are in US dollars (USD). Payment surcharges by method (card, ACH, PayPal, Venmo, bank wire) are disclosed at checkout per California payment-surcharge-disclosure law. Zelle and cash payments carry no surcharge.

Monthly plans auto-renew monthly until canceled. Quarterly plans auto-renew every three months after the initial 3-month term. Annual plans auto-renew every twelve months after the initial 12-month term. We will send you a reminder email at least 7 days before any annual renewal, as required by California law.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time by replying "CANCEL" to any Craft email, calling (323) 319-8490, or emailing info@thecraftfilms.com. Monthly plans end at the end of the current paid month. Quarterly and Annual plans honor the current commitment period — remaining months of the committed term are still billed at standard monthly rates and services continue to be delivered.

Full refund guarantee: If Craft Films LA is unable to deliver the agreed service for any reason attributable to Craft (illness of crew, equipment failure, scheduling error on our end, etc.), the client receives a 100% refund of amounts paid for the affected service period. No deductions, no restocking fees.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. If the original method is unavailable (expired card, closed account), refund is issued via Zelle, check, or bank transfer at the client's choice.

If an act of God, natural disaster, fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic, government order, war, civil unrest, or similar event beyond either party's reasonable control prevents Craft from performing the services, both parties share the loss equally:

• Craft refunds 50% of amounts paid for the affected service period.
• The client absorbs the remaining 50% as a shared-risk cost.

This clause applies only when performance is actually impossible — not when Craft chooses not to perform.

Equipment liability insurance is the client's responsibility. Craft provides professional cinema cameras, lighting, grip, and audio equipment on shoots. While this equipment is at the client's premises, event, or in the client's custody, the client is responsible for insuring it against damage, loss, or theft. Replacement cost is the client's responsibility if equipment is damaged or lost under the client's custody, and the client's insurance pays. Craft does not carry third-party liability coverage for the client's premises.

Additional client responsibilities:

• Secure all filming permits for private property, if required.
• Obtain written model/talent releases from everyone appearing on camera.
• Provide safe set conditions: adequate power, parking, access, security.
• Pay for any location fees, special permits, or third-party costs not quoted up-front.

Deliverable counts (shoot days, finished videos, cutdowns, paid-social creatives, etc.) are listed per plan on your plan card. Standard turnaround is 10 business days from shoot date for first-cut delivery; up to 3 revision rounds per deliverable are included. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at $150/hour.

Finished deliverables are provided as masters in common formats (ProRes / H.264 / vertical social cutdowns in 9:16). Raw footage is retained by Craft and is not delivered unless specifically purchased as a separate add-on.

Upon receipt of full payment for a deliverable, Craft Films LA assigns to the client a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publicly display, and distribute the finished deliverables for the client's commercial and promotional purposes. The client may edit or re-cut the deliverables for their own use.

Craft retains the right to use thumbnails, excerpts, and completed deliverables in Craft's portfolio and marketing materials, including on thecraftfilms.com and Craft's social-media channels, unless the client requests otherwise in writing before shoot.

Raw footage (unused takes, b-roll not delivered in finals) remains the sole property of Craft Films LA unless specifically licensed to the client in writing.

Craft accepts 7 payment methods for subscriptions. Per California payment-surcharge-disclosure law, processing fees are passed to the client at the exact cost:

• Zelle — $0 surcharge. Sent to (323) 319-8490, recipient CRAFT FILMS LA LLC.
• Cash — $0 surcharge. In-person pickup / handoff by appointment.
• Credit/Debit Card — +2.9% + $0.30 (Stripe processing).
• ACH Direct Debit — +$5 flat (Stripe ACH cap).
• PayPal — +2.99% + $0.49 (PayPal domestic rate).
• Venmo — +3.49% + $0.49 (via PayPal commercial).
• Bank Wire — +$15 flat (correspondent bank fee).

Craft receives the base plan price in all cases; surcharges go directly to the payment processor.

Craft Films LA collects personal information from clients: name, business name, email, phone, billing address, payment method details. We use this information solely to deliver subscription services, bill, and provide customer support. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

California residents have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information. Email info@thecraftfilms.com with the subject "CCPA Request" to exercise these rights.

Craft's total liability to the client for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount paid by the client to Craft in the 12 months preceding the claim. Craft is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost business opportunity, or data loss).

Nothing in this section limits liability for Craft's gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under California law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved as follows:

• Disputes under $10,000 may be filed in the Small Claims Division of the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County.
• Disputes above $10,000 will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Los Angeles County.
• Each party bears its own attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator or court awards otherwise under California law.

Craft may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel per Section 3.
